David Lynch’s “Twin Peaks” has long been one of my favorite TV shows. The mix of wonderful, charming characters with a sinister and unsettling story combine into something that will forever be, for me, timeless and magical. Each episode offers something unique, making it impossible to miss one.
While I will always find composer Angelo Badalamenti’s original soundtrack to be one of the greatest in TV history, I will fully admit that the below video, created by Steve Collender, works surprisingly well. Basically, it takes clips from the series and puts them underneath Sonic Youth‘s famous track “Superstar”. Since there is already something wistful and strangely eerie in that song, it clicks together perfectly, like two puzzle pieces that were meant to be joined.
