The first trailer for the TV-to-film adaptation of Baywatch has arrived and it honestly doesn’t look all that bad! The basic plot is that the lifeguard organization is about to lose its budget and they have to figure out a way to prove their relevance. So, they hire a PR guy who also happens to be a total douchebag. Add in a criminal plot that just so happens to be centered in or around the beach and you’ve got your movie!
‘Baywatch’ follows devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon as he butts heads with a brash new recruit. Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay.
Directed by Seth Gordon, Baywatch stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Priyanka Chopra, Jon Bass, and Ilfenesh Hadera. It comes out May 26th, 2017.
