The video game-to-film adaptation of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed had its premiere a couple of nights ago and the fans who were in attendance seemed to be thoroughly pleased with the end result! With several video games getting the feature film adaptation treatment, a lot of eyes are on this film to see how it performs. After all, this year’s earlier entry Warcraft, which performed very well overseas, was basically a flop domestically. Hopefully Assassin’s Creed will find audiences both foreign and domestic and will get enough positive acclaim so as to convince more studios to look at video games as a viable source of content.
