New ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Trailer Swings Online

Our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man has a new movie due out this summer, Spider-Man: Homecoming. The first solo movie for the character after his introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in last year’s Captain America: Civil War, Homecoming already looks like a keeper. While the first trailer was more light-hearted and showcased the more playful side of the web-slinging superhero (Tom Holland), this latest one skews more towards selling the stakes and the scale of his battle with Vulture (Michael Keaton) and his cohorts. Without giving too much away, it looks like Peter Parker is in way over his head…

Spider-Man: Homecoming is the sixteenth entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The picture is directed by Jon Watts, from a screenplay by Jonanthan M. Goldstein, John Francis Daley, Jon Watts, Christopher Ford, Chris McKenna, and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as ‘Peter Parker/Spider-Man’, Michael Keaton as ‘Adrian Toomes/Vulture’, Bokeem Woodbine as ‘Herman Schultz/Shocker’, Robert Downey Jr. as ‘Tony Stark/Iron Man’, Michael Chernus as ‘Phineas Mason/Tinkerer’, Marisa Tomei as ‘May Parker’, Zendaya as ‘Michelle’, Jacob Batalon as ‘Ned Leeds’, Laura Harrier as ‘Liz Allen’, Tony Revolori as ‘Flash Thompson’, and Jon Favreau as ‘Happy Hogan’.

Donald Glover, Logan Marshall-Green, Kenneth Choi, Hannibal Buress, Michael Barbieri, Isabella Amara, Martin Starr, Jorge Lindeborg Jr., Abraham Attah, Selenis Leyva, Michael Mando, Garcelle Beauvais, Tiffany Espensen, Angourie Rice, Martha Kelly, Jona Xiao, J.J. Totah, and Tyne Daily also appear.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into cinemas on July 7th, 2017.
