‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ Awesome Mix Track List Revealed

One of the biggest successes coming out of 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy was its soundtrack. Based around a mixtape created for Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, by his mother, it was loaded with classic rock songs. Not only was it an important element in the film itself, but the soundtrack was one of the biggest sellers out of the flick’s merchandise. At the end of the first film, it was revealed that Star-Lord’s mother had made him a second tape before she died: Awesome Mix Vol. 2.

It was inevitable that said Awesome Mix Vol. 2 would feature heavily in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, from the trailers to the spots to the final film itself. So what’s on the tape? It’s time to find out! Behold the official “Awesome Mix Vol. 2” track list, courtesy of Rolling Stone…

This makes it one of the select few original songs written specifically for a Marvel Studios release.
