Lionsgate’s musical family adventure Rock Dog is coming to Digital HD on May 9th and Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand May 23rd. I haven’t seen Rock Dog as of yet and I’m not sure I even know anyone that has seen it, but I do know a number of people that thought it looked pretty silly and I get that, I do. However, I’m pretty intrigued by Rock Dog. The premise reminds me of Don Bluth’s Rock-a-Doodle, which I absolutely love. If Rock Dog manages to be half as good as Rock-a-Doodle, I’ll be very pleased.
SYNOPSIS:
When a radio falls from the sky into the hands of a wide-eyed Tibetan Mastiff, he leaves home to fulfill his dream of becoming a musician, setting into motion a series of completely unexpected events.
