There’s nothing about this concept that doesn’t appeal to me. The Stormare factor alone made it worthwhile and was only further bolstered by the inclusion of a recurring Keanu as his less-than-savory ex-partner. Add in the awkward young sidekick (Johan Glans), a minor as his go-to hacker, and Traci Lords as the head of a high-class private detective agency? Well, you’ve got me hook, line, and sinker. If that wasn’t enough, since it was apparently a hit when it aired overseas back in the fall, “Swedish Dicks” has already been renewed for a second season. Jackpot!
“Swedish Dicks” is an American-Swedish co-production webseries. It was created by Glenn Lund, Peter Stormare, Andrew Lowery, and Peter Settman. The show stars Peter Stormare as ‘Ingmar Andersson’, Johan Glans as ‘Axel Kruse’, Felisha Cooper as ‘Sarah Andersson’, Vivian Bang as ‘Sun’, Traci Lords as ‘Jane McKinney’, and Keanu Reeves as ‘Tex Johnson’.
“Swedish Dicks” premieres on August 2nd on Pop TV.
