[Trailer] ‘Little Evil’ Is Adam Scott vs. The Antichrist

Netflix has called upon their dark lord and unleashed the first trailer for Little Evil. What is Little Evil? It’s a horror-comedy that centers on a man (“Parks & Recreation” star Adam Scott) who marries a woman (Ant-Man‘s Evangeline Lilly), only to discover that her 6-year-old son is the Antichrist. The film comes to us from the director of Tucker & Dale vs. Evil and it lands on the popular streaming service in less than two weeks.

I have a confession to make: I still haven’t seen Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. I know, I know. It’s an understood modern classic of a horror-comedy. I will definitely be getting around to it before I sit down with Little Evil. That aside, this looks hilarious. The Omen (with a little Poltergeist) as a horror-comedy? This is right up my alley. The trailer itself is pretty generic and seems to be selling its scenes short through some truly wonky editing, but it still looks like this could make for a good time.

Little Evil is an original horror-comedy. It is written and directed by Eli Craig. The picture is produced by Jason Michael Berman and Scott Stuber. The film stars Adam Scott as ‘Gary’, Evangline Lilly as ‘Samantha’, Owen Atlas as ‘Lucas’, Clancy Brown as ‘Reverend Gospel’, Tyler Labine as ‘Karl C. Miller’, Donald Faison as ‘Larry’, Kyle Bronheimer as ‘Victor’, Chris D’Elia as ‘Wayne’, and Bridget Everett as ‘Al’.

Little Evil will premiere on Netflix on September 1st, 2017.
