One of the coolest announcements of the week came a few days ago from Shout! Factory when they announced that they will be releasing Green Acres: The Complete Series on DVD for the first time on October 17, 2017! This is an announcement worth getting all dressed up for!
To date the first three seasons have been released on DVD by MGM with season three getting the most recent release waaaaaaay back in December of 2015. Shout! is going to give us all six seasons, that’s 170 episodes, in one glorious 24-disc set featuring all your friends from Hooterville. Not only that, Shout! is loading this bad boy up with bonus content including Granby’s Green Acres Radio Show. That’s very exciting!
If it were up to millennials Green Acres would likely be murdered and scrubbed from the face of the Earth. You know, because millennials* have a fetish for murdering things.
