Veteran character actor Terry O’Quinn (“Lost“, “Millennium“) has of Hulu’s “Castle Rock“. O’Quinn will be bringing to life an original character named Dale Lacy, an esteemed member of the Castle Rock community. He joins a cast that already includes Jane Levy, Melanie Lynskey, Andre Holland, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgard, and Scott Glenn. The actor (pictured above) is no Stephen King virgin, having previously portrayed the sheriff in Silver Bullet, the 1985 adaptation of King’s Cycle of the Werewolf.
Also on the Hulu and King front, actor Jackson Robert Scott (It, pictured below) has been in the streaming outlet’s adaptation of “Locke & Key“. Scott will be playing Bode Locke, the youngest son of the Locke family. He joins the already-cast Frances O’Connor, who will be playing his mother, Nina. The series is based on a popular horror fantasy comic created by King’s son, Joe Hill. Andres Muschietti (Mama, It) is on board to helm the pilot, thus making this a reunion with his It star.
Both shows are currently slated to arrive on Hulu in the first half of 2018. “Castle Rock“, which is produced by Stephen King and J.J. Abrams, is currently filming up in Massachusetts under the guiding hands of showrunners Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason.
“Locke & Key” is on track to film later this fall, with showrunner Carlton Cuse (Bates Motel, The Strain) overseeing things. That series is produced by Joe Hill, Andres Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and a few others.
