USA Today has issued six new stills from the production of Marvel Studio’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The James Gunn film arrives in theaters in a little over three months time and is the latest installment in the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe. The upcoming seuel sees our reluctant heroes on another wild cosmic adventure that will see them “travel throughout the cosmos and struggle to keep their new-found family together, while helping Peter Quill learn more about his true parentage.” Vague, I know, but I’m sure Gunn has conjured up something just as, if not more, magical than the 2014 original.
These new stills showcase a great many of the film’s returning characters, such as Star-Lord, Drax the Destroyer, Yondu Udonta, Rocket Raccoon, and Nebula. We’re also given another glimpse of newcomer Mantis and a behind the scenes shot with director Gunn and star Chris Pratt. Check them out…
