Kevin Sorbo & Teri Hatcher Wage War On ‘Supergirl’

’90s TV icons Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo are joining the cast of The CW’s “Supergirl“. News about Hatcher broke a few days ago on  and word on Sorbo came through today via Variety. Both actors will be playing recurring villains during the back half of the DC Comics show’s current season, although who exactly the are portraying has not yet been revealed.

Kevin Sorbo is best known for playing Hercules in a handful of TV movies and an eventual series, dubbed “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys“. The fantasy-action series ran from 1994 to 1999, eventually spawning spin-offs such as “Xena: Warrior Princess” and “Young Hercules“. Sorbo is also known for his role as ‘Captain Dylan Hunt’ on the science fiction series “Andromeda” (2000-2005), as well as his appearances in films such as Kull the Conqueror and Bitch Slap. Teri Hatcher is probably best known by DC fans for her role as ‘Lois Lane’ on the TV series “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman“, which ran for four seasons from 1993 to 1997. She is also known for starring in “Desperate Housewives” from 2004 to 2012, ad well as for her roles in Tomorrow Never Dies, Tango & Cash, and Spy Kids.
