A couple years back Mill Creek released Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone on DVD. I think it was on a two-pack with Krull. Anyway, that DVD was great but I held out hope for a Blu-ray. On May 2nd Mill Creek is going to answer my hope by releasing Spacehunter on Blu-ray! It doesn’t look like there will be any special features, but that’s ok. Mill Creek usually don’t have much in the way of bonus content, but their transfers almost always look great and at the end of the day that’s what really matters. Plus Michael Ironside. Need I say more?
Spacehunter is just the tip of the May iceberg for Mill Creek. Coming two weeks later on May 16th is a Blu-ray triple feature of Blind Fury, Silent Rage and White Line Fever. That’s right, Mill Creek is releasing a Blu-ray triple bill with Rutger Hauer, Chuck Norris and Jan-Michael Vincent. I think my life is complete.

Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone
