Get Your First Glimpse of Cable from ‘Deadpool 2’

Actor Ryan Reynolds has shared the first look of Josh Brolin in costume as Cable, the time traveling mutant soldier who will debut on the big screen next year in Deadpool 2. As you can see, he definitely looks the part and also appears to be appropriately playful in regards to the upcoming comedic superhero sequel. Brolin inked a four-film deal with Fox, so look for Cable to be sticking around in the X-Men cinematic universe for years to come.

You can find Reynolds’ full tweet below, as well as a second promotional still of Cable below it. I have also attached the recently-released look at Zazie Beetz’s Domino, since we missed posting it the first time around. You’ll find it at the bottom of the piece. Enjoy!

Deadpool 2 is the upcoming sequel to the 2016 hit X-Men spin-off. It is directed by David Leitch, from a screenplay by Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese, and Drew Goddard. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as ‘Wade Wilson/Deadpool’, Josh Brolin as ‘Nathan Summers/Cable’, Zazie Beetz as ‘Neena Thurman/Domino’, Jack Kesy as ‘Black Tom Cassidy’, T.J. Miller as ‘Weasel’, Brianna Hildebrand as ‘Negasonic Teenage Warhead’, Stefan Kapicic as ‘Colossus’, Monica Baccarin as ‘Vanessa Carlysle’, Leslie Uggams as ‘Blind Al’, and Karan Soni as ‘Dopinder’. Shioli Katsuna and Julian Dennison also appear.

Deadpool 2 arrives in theaters on June 1st, 2018.
