Disney and Marvel Studios have released a brand new trailer for Black Panther and it is just as excellent as the last one. The Ryan Coogler-directed film can’t get here soon enough as far as I am concerned. Check out the trailer below, along with a brand new poster at the end of the piece!
After the events of Captain America: Civil War, King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) returns home to Wakanda. He soon finds his sovereignty challenged by factions within his own country. When two enemies conspire to bring down the kingdom, T’Challa must team up, as the Black Panther, with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman) and members of the Dora Milaje—Wakanda’s special forces—to prevent a world war.
This film continues to look big, bold, and quite different from its other Marvel brethren. After Thor: Ragnarok (which looks equally eccentric), we will be seventeen films deep into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I love that this far in, they are spreading their wings more than ever when it comes to breathing new life into the tone and style of this massive movie world they have created. Black Panther looks great and, as I already said above, I can’t wait for it to arrive.
